Publicly Viewable Pictures

Every once in a while, a friend will ask me to put some pictures up on the web for them. And they usually don't want them password protected like mine are (see next section). So, I created a gallery to put these pictures in. You will find them at http://www.kinnefam.com/gallery-public/.

Blog Mailing List

I think some people haven't been checking my site because they never remember the login information. So I decided to create a mailing list that will always get the blog posts forwarded to it. If you want to be added to the mailing list, let me know. That way you don't even have to remember to check the site, and you'll get the latest on me and my family as soon as I put it up. You will still need to go through the website to access pictures and video.

Devon and I have set up her web-log so that her posts will also go to those on the mailing list. So if you're on the mailing list, you will get her posts as well.

Password Information

Some parts of this website (web-log, schedule, and pictures) are password protected so that only the following can view them: friends, family, and some collegues.

The password and username/id that are needed to access the protected parts of my website are the same as they always have been. When you are asked for the username or user id and a password, just put in the information that I have told you before.

If you do not know the username/id and password and would like to view the protected parts of my website, send me an email to let me know.

Picture and Multimedia Information

I have recently put all of my pictures into a new type of gallery. The main benefit of this gallery is that it has access to the high quality versions of the pictures, and the gallery gives you the ability to print the pictures using either Shutterfly.com or Digibug.com. Doing this is pretty self-explanatory, but if you have any questions please ask me. One item that I will point out is that most of the pictures in the gallery are of pretty high quality, so you should be able to get prints as large as you want - 8x10, 12x16, etc.

The gallery also has all of the videos that used to be on the pictures page. I have also added a few audio clips of William and Andrew. I still have some rearranging to do with all of these items, so you may notice slight changes to the gallery over the next few weeks.

There is also a "download zip file" feature allowing you to download the high quality versions of all pictures in your cart. To use this, add images to your cart and choose "download zip" when you are done. This feature would come in handy if you want to get prints of the pictures but don't want to use Shutterfly.com or Digibug.com. For example, you could download a zip file with the pictures you want, and then upload them to Walgreens, get them printed at Walgreens, then pick them up at your local store. It would be a bit tedious, but that's how it would be if you want to do that.
